As Lead Estimator/Senior Project Manager, Mr. Akins is responsible for initial budgeting, final estimate and project buyout. Rober also manages a project’s programming, design development, construction and closeout phases. He also supervises the preparation of monthly billings; the analysis of and processing of vendor and subcontractor requests for payment and change orders; the development of and the updating of the master project construction schedule; the preparation of the monthly budget analysis; and the adherence to the company’s safety and accident prevention program. He is responsible for a safe working environment and is a member of the Project Management Team. Mr. Akins has over 41 years of construction experience. Mr. Akins has been LEED accredited since 2007 and holds a certification U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Proficient in P7, Micro Soft Projects, Word, Excel, Vista, & OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid.
